Melissa Rauch (Jenna, co-writer) Actress, stand-up comic and writer. Melissa is a regular panelist on VH1's hit television show, "Best Week Ever." Her on-screen work includes Tom DiCillo's upcoming film, Delirious with Steve Buscemi. Some of Melissa's past stage credits include Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest, Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Emma in Pterodactyls and Madeline in Vampire Lesbians of Sodom. She toured with the critically acclaimed political satire troupe, GROSS NATIONAL PRODUCT, performing in their productions of Son of a Bush and Kerry the Vote. Melissa was voted "Best College Comedian" by MTV's TRL by Jaime Fox and Carson Daly and was named one of Back Stage's, "10 Standout Stand-ups of 2005." Feature scripts include: Interfaith & Eat Your Heart Out and has multiple writing projects in development for television. Recipient: "Outstanding Solo Show" & "Theatermania Audience Favorite Award," for The Miss Education of Jenna Bush (New York International Fringe Festival 2005). She performs her stand-up at comedy clubs and universities nationwide and has proven to be one of the fastest rising comediennes on the circuit today.
